I am who I am a person who can't walk away from any animal I see in need. I am partial to the abandoned babies whose mothers have met and unfortunate demise. (Getting hit by car trappers ect) I have been this way for as long as I can remember. I never go looking for them they always seem to find me either on their own or by a good doer who has heard of me. Some people just don’t comprehend what type of feeling comes from taking a one or two day baby animal and nursing it back to health and being able to release it into the wild. You may never know how many years that little “sweetpies” as I call them has but you know in your heart that you did the right thing.

 

 

 

                I have raised baby raccoons, squirrels, opossum’s, kittens, puppies and birds that have been hurt or abandoned at birth or shortly after. The feeling that you get when you know they are going to make it is almost as good as winning the lottery. But then again If I did win the lottery I would have a lot more time and money to do what I love rescues.
